POSITION SUMMARY
Execute Payer Strategy mission to negotiate and maintain the best terms and compensation with dental carriers for MB2 Dental (MB2) affiliated offices. Primary responsibilities include growing dental plan revenue, serving as a key liaison between MB2 offices and the carriers, and supporting the offices, Credentialing and Central Business Office (RCO) with strategic advice and daily maintenance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Negotiate contracts and compensation, pursue member assignments, prospect and present new Plans
to Operations, in order to optimize Plan revenue and explore new partnerships.
- Conduct Payer Portfolio Reviews for individual offices upon request.
- Conduct analysis for struggling offices and create a Payer strategy.
- Serve as single point of contact with assigned national accounts and key liaison between MB2 and all
regional carriers to resolve daily issues that arise.
- Serve as subject matter expert/information resource on assigned Payers for MB2 internal audiences.
- Work closely with Payers to ensure proper understanding of Payer guidelines, contractual terms, and
claims processes, and monitors legislation that impacts Payer products and reimbursement.
- Actively manage all assigned Payer relationships including, but not limited to, regularly scheduled
reviews to discuss opportunities, and reimbursement.
- Partner with internal departments, such as RCO and Credentialing, to research and resolve Payerrelated issues.
- Facilitate implementation of operational efficiencies, such as EDI, EFT, ERA, web portals, and delegated
credentialing.
- Coordinate office training on how to maximize PPO and DHMO plan participation.
- Coordinate patient grievance resolution, as needed.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.

This position is full-time and will provide you the opportunity to expand your clinical skill set and could eventually lead to ownership options one day. Our offices offer a wide array of services, including routine prevention and maintenance, crown & bridge, restorative, ortho, oral surgery, veneers, endo, and implants. We will consider all experience types for this opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Review and complete work orders to move, change, install, repair, or remove date communications equipment such as cabling , wires, POS, CCTV, phone systems, computer terminals, audio systems, DVR's, digital signage, traffic monitoring systems and analytics, people counters, as well as wireless RF units.
- Read technical manuals to learn correct settings for equipment.
- Measure, cut, and install wires and cables.
- Splice wires or cables.
- connect microcomputer or terminal to date communication lines.
- Disassemble equipment and inspects and test wiring to locate and repair problem.
- Modify equipment in accordance with user request.
- Test communication lines to ensure that specifications are met.
- Enter Commands into computer to test computers
- Read messages on computer screen to verify that date is being transmitted between locations according to specifications.
- Plan layout and installation of date communications equipment.
- Demonstrate use of equipment.
Qualifications
- Traveling required (80%)- over nights
- Must maintain a valid drivers licenses
- Driving record must be incident free for last 3 years
- Able to lift at least 50lbs
- Able to climb 12ft ladder
- Able to sit, stand, kneel/or walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities
- Research and correct any claim discrepancies for assigned partner offices
- Directly address all insurance denials received (within 3 business days or less)
- Communicate directly with partner offices to request any additional information needed for claim payment
- File secondary claims as needed with supporting documentation
- Insurance aging report roll up for all partner offices
- Registration and maintenance of online portals for Insurance companies
- Follow up and resolve all communication requests (responses within 48 hours or less)
- Ensure personal achievement of productivity standards and performance metrics as directed by supervisor
- Complete other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Understanding of dental insurance and claims processing
- Dentrix, Eagle Soft, Easy Dental or Open Dental software experience preferred
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Typing/Data entry skills
- Understanding of billing and appeals process
- Ability to prioritize workload to achieve set time lines/goals
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- MS Office Suite knowledge is a plus

- Timely posting of all lockbox payments for assigned partner offices
- Proper distribution of any correspondence received through lockbox to other departments
- Making the proper adjustments to patient ledgers according to the explanation of benefits and company standards
- Create Issue traks for all denials received for further review
- File secondary claims as needed with supporting documentation

- Previous high volume posting experience

Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical chart audits for MB2 Dental affiliated providers to determine compliance with Medicaid and other payers.
- Read and analyze EOB’s and make proper adjustments according to MB2 claims processing criteria.
- Send appeals to insurance carriers with justification as to why dental treatment should be paid.
- Audit accounts to ensure proper fees have been posted.
- Work with Compliance team to maximize office collections and minimize adjustments.
- Communicate issues and suggestions to improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with MB2 policies as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies.
- Participate in meetings as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Prior RDA experience preferred
- Prior billing experience preferred
- Experience with dental terminology preferred
- Experience as an auditor preferred
- Must possess experience in the following areas:
- Local, State, and Federal compliance regulations
- Must possess strong communication and organization skills
